Were there people in the dino times?
No. The dinosaurs lived from 225 to 65 million years ago in the Mesozoic Era. Mammals didn't begin to proliferate till after the dinosaurs were gone, although there were some smaller mammals around during the time of the dinosaurs.
The oldest guess for homo sapiens fossils date from around 200,000 years ago with the modern man offshoot of that branch happening much later. No dinosaur bridged that huge gap between 65 million years and 200,000 years. Even early hominid like life forms weren't seen till around 7 million years ago. That's still an order of magnitude off even for them to overlap with the dinosaurs.
